Fairview Residency – Eclectic Elegance in Business Bay

For this one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay, we were commissioned by an international client from India with a passion for travel and a taste shaped by eclectic, design-forward spaces like the Miami Soho House. The goal was to transform the once-standard unit into a sophisticated yet comfortable retreat that reflects the client’s vibrant personality and global inspirations.

To infuse warmth and character, we replaced the cold tile flooring with elegant parquet wood floors throughout the main living areas. The previously sterile kitchen was reimagined with a rich teal wrapping that brings depth and energy to the space. In the living room, we added a bold palm-print wallpaper and a custom-built media unit, paired with a plush velvet couch — perfect for cozy nights in.

The dining area highlights the client’s refined aesthetic, featuring a stylish sideboard to house his collection of artisanal tableware. We also integrated personal elements, like the client’s existing office desk, seamlessly matching it to the bespoke media unit for a cohesive look. With the client working partly from home, creating a productive and inspiring workspace was essential.

Both the powder room and master bathroom were fully renovated. The powder room now features eye-catching checkerboard flooring and wallpaper, while the master bathroom boasts serene blue tiling, upgraded vanities, and clever storage solutions — a major improvement from the previously outdated, impractical layout.

In the master bedroom, a floral wallpaper in soft blue tones beautifully echoes the kitchen’s teal cabinetry. Custom window treatments — including rose-toned curtains, sheer panels, and printed blinds — tie the design together with thoughtful harmony, extending through to the living area.

This project is a celebration of layered design, curated comfort, and personal expression. The client now enjoys a home that feels like a second sanctuary — stylish, soulful, and unmistakably his.
